The first of all lie Campos talks most in his article is that thin people are much healthier than those who are overweight. Campos asserts that on that point is no solid scientific basis for this claim. He believes that not because youre fat means that you are going to be unhealthier than a skinny person.
The second lie Campos talks about is the idea that people become healthier when they get thin. He believes that health has nothing to do with weight.
Lastly the third lie Campos talks about is that being fat is a choice. He argues that this is not true. He relates dieting to smoking by utter dieting to avoid get fat makes exactly as much sense as smoking to avoid getting lung cancer (pg 209).




Paul Campos supports his overall argument by relating fleshiness to skin color, expecting that if no one would link weight to race, thusly they should not link them to body mass.
