In the 1680s Dutch, French, and Germans left the religious persecution in Europe. They went and colonized in South Africa. These people began calling themselves Afrikaanss, which mean colour Africans. For the next 250 geezerhood the Afrikaners fought with the British Empire over the land, the gold, and the 20 million native Africans. In 1984 a conservative Afrikaner government was voted into power. A system of racial segregation and divergence was used as the law of the land. The Afrikaners called this system apartheid. Apartheid is a polity or practice of separating or segregating groups. Our story begins 18 years earlier, in 1930 on a small elevate in South Africa.
The story begins on a Small farm in Africa, home of a young boy named Peekay. Peekay is a young English boy growing up in Africa. He lives with a black maid and a teeny black boy on his farm land in Africa. At a really young age Peekay anomic his father, this damaged him for life. He was left to live with his mother instantly who soon began to have health problems herself. After a curt while he is sent off to a develop and to go live with his grandfather. When he goes to town to go work out his grandfather he meets up with Professor von Vollensteen (a.k.a atomic number 101). Doc is a German national and a friend of Peekays Grandfather.



Peekay then goes with Doc and lives with him in his house. there, Doc slowly starts education Peekay about science and different plants and he educates him very well. single day while Doc and Peekay are outside, Doc chooses arrested and he and Peekay must go to a jail like center. There in the center Peekay and Doc help out and do things for the guards and all the black African natives. During his time here, Doc introduces Peekay to an convict named Geel Piet. Geel Piet teaches Peekay how to box. He starts off very easy because he is very young, but as time passes by, Peekay is becoming an expert boxer. He is in his teens now and he is boxing other people.
